I offer the following services: coaching through one-on-one where together we can work on meeting your personal goals.
I have more than 12 years of experience in leadership development programming, project management and community relations. As a coach, I engage and support individuals and teams to achieve their best by discovering new tools for better listening and more effective and focused verbal and non-verbal communication. During my undergraduate program at the University of Colorado at Boulder, I completed a two-year leadership program focused on theory and practical skills in organizational development, meeting facilitation and change management. In addition to earning my BA in Sociology, I also earned certificates in Leadership and Peace and Conflict Studies while at CU.
While completing my MBA at Presidio Graduate School in San Francisco, I was most lit up by the leadership courses on effective communication, management and action. I am highly energized by working with individuals and teams to strengthen and refine their business skills. Prior to focusing my career on coaching, I worked at commercial businesses including the world-class restaurant Chez Panisse in Berkeley, CA and non-profit organizations with a global reach. I am a certified ICF core coach with 250 hours of experience.
Additionally, I have taught yoga and meditation throughout the Bay Area in public and corporate classes. A Bay Area resident since 2005, Claire is grateful to call such a vibrant area home.
I invite you to step forward, dig deep within yourself, establish your foundation and from there express greater freedom in your life.
I look forward to connecting!

BUSINESS
I earned my Masters in Business Administration in Sustainable Management from Presidio Graduate School in San Francisco in 2012. The field of sustainable business expands the bottom line of an organization to include people and the planet in addition to profit. I bring this holistic approach to my business along with solid management skills and a professional background of over a decade of experience in both non-profit organizations and for-profit companies. Currently, I work regularly with SNP Communications where I am a coach and lead instructor, supporting professional development including presentation skills.

Along with my B.A. in Sociology from the University of Colorado at Boulder, I completed a 2-year leadership program called INVST (International and National Voluntary Service Training) in 2004. Through INVST, I gained skills in non-violent communication (NVC) and facilitation. I completed my primary yoga teacher training with Yoga Tree in San Francisco in 2008 with Janet Stone, Darren Main and Elise Lorimer. I went onto obtain my 500 Hour certification at Yoga Tree, studying in depth with mentorship from both Katchie Ananda and Abby Tucker.
I have held a full schedule of yoga offerings in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have also taught in Oregon and have previously co-led groups across the Southwestern states of the U.S. and in Costa Rica.
In addition to teaching yoga, I served as the Community Relations Manager for the non-profit organization, Off the Mat into the World (OTM), which combines the principles of yoga with social change.
